​As a young child I loved listening to stories and was drawn to characters who followed their hearts, didn't fit in and walked the less traveled path. These are strong themes in my own writing and in workshops I lead with students of all ages. 

​

Writing with new writers, seasoned writers or someone who is just discovering their voice for the first time is one my favorite things! I have had the great privilege of working with students as a creative writing instructor at The Monteverde Friends School in Monteverde, Costa Rica, New England Young Writer's Conference at Breadloaf, visiting author in Vermont Public Schools, and Presenter for the Children's Literacy Foundation.

I have studied writing at the University of Vermont and dance at

the Naropa Institute in Boulder, Colorado.
